Ms. Kim was selected to present a platform talk at the 8th Annual Midwest Great Lakes Undergraduate Research Symposium (mGluRs), held Oct. 22 on the campus of Ohio State University.  

The title of her talk was: "Exogenous Adenosine Protects BV-2 Microglia Cells in Simulated Ischemia."  In recognition of "research quality, originality, and significance to the field of Neuroscience," she was selected by vote of the attending faculty to receive the "1st Place Symposium Presentation."
