Anya Kim has received a Fulbright Summer Institute scholarship to study at the University of Dundee and the University of Strathclyde in Scotland, on one of the most prestigious and selective summer scholarship programs operating world-wide. 

Ms. Kim stated: "When I learned I had received a place in the Fulbright Summer Institutes, I was ecstatic. Getting the chance to experience another culture and live as a student in Scotland (one of my dream places to study abroad) will be a once in a lifetime opportunity. As an undergraduate researcher, I am also looking forward to meeting scientific researchers at these universities and getting to hear first-hand about their academic experiences and their current work. Lastly, I am so grateful for all the support I have received at the University of Iowa, and my advisors and mentors were invaluable as I worked on my application."
