Jennifer Wu

Jennifer Wu received a 2015-16 academic year ICRU fellowship.

Using cultured BV2 cells, her research aims to determine the extent to which cellular stressors (including immune activation) trigger changes in mitochondrial content within microglial cells.  This work seeks to understand the underlying mechanisms of stress-induced immune cell activation.

Jen will continue her studies over the summer as she works toward an Honor’s thesis.
